Hi There!! Welcome to the NC Forum...this is an AWESOME bunch of ladies & gent(s)
I JUST got home from the hospital Saturday *March 8th* after my having my surgery with Dr. Pender. And everything went GREAT!! Well except for the 24hours  in the PACU..but that's a long story..LOL Dr. Pender did wonderful on the surgery and the incisions are nice and small...Yes I won't sugar coat it, there is alot of pain, but you literally had your guts rearranged. They make sure that you are taken care of. The nurses that took care of me were beyond amazing...SOOO NICE!!! Anyways best of luck to you on your new decision to a new life, so far I don't regret a thing and I am less than a week out and the weight is falling off from me :)
